Joy Marie Haines

Joy Marie Haines is an associate attorney with Zide Law Group. Before joining the firm, Joy served as a law clerk to Family Magistrate Gwendolyn S. Tate in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, where she gained valuable experience in family law matters.
Joy earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Media/Communications and History, and her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
During law school, Joy served as a Student Attorney representing survivors of violence and assisting with family and victims' rights matters. She also served as a U.S. Department of Justice Honors Intern with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and worked with the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office Special Victims Unit. Joy was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 2026.
