Josh is our hero!!!! He was hired the last few months before trial and helped us win my nephew in a custody battle. This was a contempt hearing and custody battle. It’s rare that a father gets full legal and physical custody, then move him to another state. He’s going to get a case of Dr. Pepper from me IYKYK!! He does his hw and preparation for battle, worth every penny. Attorney fees are reasonable. We heard the opposing counsel’s fees and were dumbfounded, they fleeced their client. Lol!!! Now, my nephew can succeed in life in NYC with my brother. They have a big support system in NYC. The mother…vessel (hate to call her that since mothers protect their children) failed him for 11 years and shown to be unfit in court. I was shocked and disappointed at the womb holder. It was a long 2 year process of paperwork and trials. Josh is concise, astute, and articulate during cross examination. He doesn’t waste the court’s time and uses it wisely. It’s weird to say but he has a likable courtroom presence when he’s speaking. It’s entertaining maybe bc of his criminal defense background. Can’t say the same for the opposing attorney. It was cringeworthy. She took 4 days to question her own 2 witnesses, which was ridiculous. She dragged it on with the same questions and looking over her yellow legal pad multiple times as if there was some sort of a saving grace (Sisolak). Seriously don’t question it just go with this law firm. Lisa Windsor represented me in my child custody case and I got exactly what I was asking for. She was SO nice, personable, timely I mean everything you can think of you want in a lawyer she has it, facts together and stands firm on the decisions to protect and help her clients. I was very dissatisfied with my original DIVORCE lawyer. However, there were some loose ends that needed mending so I asked a friend whom works at the courthouse for a recommendation for a NEW lawyer. She gave me Lisa's name. From the moment I met her, I knew she was the one. I just wish I had Lisa FIRST. She is always available to chat, keeps you in the loop of what is going on. Is honest, open truthful and NOT MONEY HUNGRY. Her insight and knowledge have kept me grounded. She is kind and understanding. She listens wholeheartedly and doesn't make you feel stressed, worried, agitated, or confused. All the things my previous atty did. It is almost like Lisa is a friend (therapist) and not a lawyer. I can exhale deeply with satisfaction after speaking with her. She definitely has your best interest in mind. You matter to her, which I find to be a lot less stressful in a very tense and stressful situation. While I am coming to an end with my situation (Thankfully)! I am sad too because Lisa was instrumental in getting me and my son what we deserved and wanted. She will definitely be on my Christmas card list in the future. As a side note the office staff is also amazing, friendly, and personable. While I don't wish anyone to go thru a divorce or family conflicts, but if you are then look no further, Lisa is your lawyer.

I am a retired military veteran, and I utilized the legal services of Marla Zide in 2010 for a divorce and Marla was professional and knowledgeable. Marla ensured that the process would be explained every step of the way and every effort would be put forth to obtain favorable results. Marla delivered as stated, fast-forward a decade later after fiduciary responsibilities had ended, I had some potential issues come up due to legal interpretation. Marla not only remembered me and my case, but she also offered legal advice that proved to be the proverbial nail on the head which closed this loop. Marla has surrounded herself with a staff and team of knowledgeable, professional individuals with a people first mentality. I was married for 20 years in a seemingly “happy” marriage when my wife suddenly wanted a divorce. Needless to say, I was blindsided and did not know where to begin. I consulted with two very good friends of mine who both work at the Annapolis courthouse and they referred me to Marla Zide. When I went to Marla's law office for a consultation, that's when I was introduced to Lisa Windsor. Lisa was very professional and personable and made me feel at ease right from the get-go. Lisa was very attentive, listened to all of my concerns and did not marginalize anything. I wanted to make sure I stopped by and made a review Marla specifically but her whole team have been amazing through EVERY step of my custody situation. She has been so amazing. She is very knowledgeable,personable, she will have your back and you can trust her completely. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her team to anyone who needs help.

Marla Zide Law successfully oversaw the process of my divorce from beginning to end which lasted over 15 months. Going through a life change such as divorce is never easy. Marla Zide offered realistic legal advice through her years of experience in family law. When it came time for court Marla and her staff, Megan Magee knew my case through and through and went to war for me. Four days in court is not easy but they made it manageable with their preparation and confidence. Marla is well respected by the court and her peers. Her professionalism and respect for the law is acknowledged and appreciated by all. Marla was offered as a referral to me and I would use her again if I had the choice.

If you are going to trial in a family law matter, you will want Marla Zide and her team by your side. She always made me feel at ease during the most stressful times because she was well prepared, confident and effective. Marla was successful at two custody trials and an en banc appeal during several years of complicated litigation. The outcome could not have been better! An amazing trial attorney with high integrity - that's Marla!

We worked with Marla on a high-conflict custody battle that ended up dragging on for over a year. Since we were going to court against the ex-wife, we wanted a lawyer who had extensive knowledge and experience at representing the father's side and I am definitely glad we secured Marla Zide for our counsel. She brought a straightforward no-nonsense mindset to our situation and immediately began working on our case. From start to finish, she fought for our interests and assessed our case from every possible angle to provide us with the best representation and outlook. In a high conflict custody battle where stress and tension are overwhelming, Marla addressed our abundance of questions and concerns with tact and sensitivity. Marla Zide always presented the accurate and honest truth to us and made sure we were informed of all changes to our case. It was refreshing to work with an attorney that did not sugar coat the reality of the situation or drag out a case to take advantage of you financially. She demonstrated her commitment to our case by making time on multiple occasions to confer with us over the phone and/or in person outside of her normal operating hours, which is certainly not something all lawyers will do. As an attorney, her approach to our case was uniquely crafted to fit our situation and grew organically from the beginning. She was not afraid to switch tactics or to invest extensive time and effort to research different avenues the case can potentially take. I can assure you these qualities are not universal across all legal counsel. Without her representation, we wouldn't have had any chance of the extremely favorable settlement that we received. Throughout the course of the year that we were involved in this case, Marla remained conscientious to our needs, which helped lessen the detrimental impact of this case on our daily lives. If the need arose, we would definitely retain Marla's services again. Her associates were also very helpful in our case, but we worked primarily with Marla throughout the process, which I would recommend. Although it would be less expensive to have her associates assist, in a high-stakes battle for your rights as a parent, you want the absolute best person arguing for your interests and Marla Zide is the person for the job.
